This page explains what personal data Flutter Fox collects through flutterfox.in, why we collect it, who processes it for us, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions go to hello@flutterfox.in.
Who we are
Flutter Fox builds websites and AI receptionists for service businesses. For the personal data described on this page, Flutter Fox is the data controller. You can reach us at hello@flutterfox.in.
What we collect and why
We only collect data you give us, plus minimal page-visit information:
Contact form
Data: Your name, email address and message.
Why: To reply to your enquiry. The message is stored in our database and emailed to our team inbox.
Free website audit
Data: The website address you scan. If you ask for the report and weekly re-checks: your name and email address, and the latest audit score for that site.
Why: To run the audit you asked for and, if you opted in, to email you an updated audit each week. Every weekly email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops them immediately.
Foxbot chat
Data: The messages you type. If you choose to share them: your name, email address and/or phone number, what you need, and a copy of that conversation.
Why: To answer you in the chat and, if you ask us to follow up, to pass your details to our team. Chat messages are sent to our AI provider to generate replies.
Page visits
Data: The page you viewed, the page that referred you (if your browser sends it), and your browser's user-agent string. No cookies, no visitor ID, and no IP address stored by us.
Why: To see which pages are visited, so we can improve the site.
Our legal basis is your consent (when you opt in to weekly audits or share contact details in the chat) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and running a working website. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the service providers listed below.
Cookies and tracking
We don't use advertising cookies, third-party analytics, or tracking pixels. Our fonts are served from our own domain, so loading the site doesn't contact Google. The site stores one small flag in your browser's session storage so the opening animation only plays once per visit; it is deleted when you close the tab and contains no personal data.
Who processes your data for us
We use these service providers to run the site. Each only receives the data it needs for its job:
- Vercel — Hosts the website. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and request logs to serve pages and protect against abuse.
- Neon — Hosts our database, where the form, audit, chat and page-visit records above are stored.
- Resend — Sends our emails: notifications to our team, and weekly audit emails to people who opted in.
- Groq — Runs the AI model that writes Foxbot's chat replies, so the messages you type in the chat are sent to it.
Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where that applies, we rely on their standard data-protection terms for international transfers.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries, chat leads and audit subscriptions for as long as they are useful for working with you, and delete them when you ask. If you unsubscribe from weekly audits, we stop emailing you straight away. Page-visit records contain no contact details.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. If you are in the UK or the EU you also have the right to data portability and to complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office). If you are in California, we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA.
To make a request, email hello@flutterfox.in from the address you used with us. We'll reply within 30 days.
Children
This site is for businesses and isn't aimed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
